“Lora has been a friendly neighbor in Norfolk for 9 years now. Originally from Manassas, Virginia they moved here for their undergraduate at Old Dominion University, studying the therapeutic applications of leisure and recreation. Lora is fascinated by holistic practices which promote wellbeing, and sustainability in the connections we make with respect to community and the environment.

Norfolk has been one of those communities that has been a home away from home, and growing up they often traveled to Hampton Roads to visit family, see the beach, and explore all the new and different hidden gems of the area (particularly the best breakfast spots for a quality cup of coffee or tea). When they aren’t behind the desk, Lora enjoys sunbeams and nature walks with their cat Alfredo, checking out group bike rides, local concerts, farmers markets, and a good old fashioned movie/game night with friends.
