Jude Brooker

Front Desk Staff, Resident Artist

Hello, my name is Jude Brooker and I am the weekend receptionist here at Colley Avenue Chiropractic and Bodyworks. I have been with this office for many years, and always enjoy our wonderful clients! I have lived in Ghent for 20 years and love being a part of this community. When I am not behind the front desk, I am creating the signs for the office. During the week, I am usually in my studio painting . I am an oil painter and take commissions for a variety of subjects , although must admit I have a passion for painting animals. If you like my signs, you can check out my paintings on FB at the link below.

Lora Clanton

Front Desk Staff

“Lora has been a friendly neighbor in Norfolk for 9 years now. Originally from Manassas, Virginia they moved here for their undergraduate at Old Dominion University, studying the therapeutic applications of leisure and recreation. Lora is fascinated by holistic practices which promote wellbeing, and sustainability in the connections we make with respect to community and the environment.

Norfolk has been one of those communities that has been a home away from home, and growing up they often traveled to Hampton Roads to visit family, see the beach, and explore all the new and different hidden gems of the area (particularly the best breakfast spots for a quality cup of coffee or tea). When they aren’t behind the desk, Lora enjoys sunbeams and nature walks with their cat Alfredo, checking out group bike rides, local concerts, farmers markets, and a good old fashioned movie/game night with friends.

Sarah Rossiter

Front Desk Staff

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m the friendly face you’ll see when you walk through the door or call to schedule an appointment. I love being the first point of contact and helping make everyone feel welcome and at ease.

I’ve always been passionate about health and wellness. My previous job focused on healthy eating and nutrition, and that mindset continues to shape everything I do.

I discovered my love for yoga in 2018, and in 2020, I committed to a 365-day yoga challenge that completely transformed my connection to the practice. That journey led me to become a 200-hour registered yoga instructor in October 2024. I now teach classes at several OneLife Fitness locations throughout the area.

I love using my passion for writing to craft thoughtful class themes that inspire reflection and mindfulness. Paired with music that lifts the spirit—whether it’s mantra music, mystical and meditative soundscapes, or anything with a strong rhythm—I aim to create an energy in my classes that’s both grounding and heart-opening.

Outside of work and the yoga studio, you’ll often find me journaling, reading, hiking in the mountains, recharging near the water, or going to a live music show with friends. I share all of life’s adventures with my two fur babies: Bear, my 9 year old Shih Tzu, and Tiger, my 4 year old Siberian cat who are the best of friends. They love to join in during my home yoga practice, curl up next to me when I relax with a cup of tea, or tag along on nature outings whenever they can.
